Collegium 1704, V?clav Luks
The Brandenburg Concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach are among the most popular works of Baroque music. On the occasion of their 300th anniversary in 2021, Collegium 1704 performed all six Brandenburg Concertos on period instruments in the restored Hall of Mirrors at K?then Castle. Founded in 2005 by V?clav Luks, the orchestra is one of the most renowned ensembles specializing in Baroque music of our time. Given the great stylistic and structural diversity of these concerts, they were the perfect choice to record these musical gems at the historic site of their creation.
